Why should you join us for Smash Cancer?

We invite you to participate in our 14th Annual Smash Cancer Tournament on May 19th – 21st at the Althea Gibson Tennis Complex in Wilmington, NC.

"I (Chris Tatum) began organizing the tournament after I lost both of my parents to Head & Neck Cancer 40 years apart". During the tournament, we also host a free screening for Oral Head & Neck Cancer for anyone in the community. The success of this event is largely due to the support of our sponsors, who lend their names and financial support. We would love to have your support this year and join efforts with us to take another step towards achieving our core purpose!

This year proceeds from the event will go directly towards patient transportation needs through the Head and Neck Cancer Alliance gas card fund.

The Head and Neck Cancer Alliance has a mission to advance prevention, detection, treatment, and rehabilitation of oral, head and neck cancer through public awareness, research, advocacy, and survivorship.
