Make the most of your time in Boston, and join us after the Symposium for a guided evening tour that brings the city to life. This is an easy, fully planned experience. No maps, no tickets, no logistics. Just show up and enjoy the evening with fellow Symposium attendees.
The Symposium focuses on information and support. This tour is about connection and community engagement. It gives you time to be with fellow survivors, patients, caregivers, supporters, Alliance staff, board members, and medical professionals in a more relaxed setting. You can continue conversations from the day, build relationships with people who understand your experience, and connect in ways that often lead to some of the most meaningful moments of the event.
Narrated trolley tour through downtown Boston (1-hour)
Travel through historic neighborhoods and past iconic landmarks while hearing the stories behind the city’s role in American history. Bottles of water will be provided.
The two will split into two groups at this point.
Group 1 - RIVERBOAT TOUR (1 hour)
Only for those who signed up for a ticket prior to July 2026 (not a waitlist ticket)
See Boston from the water, with views of the skyline, bridges, and historic sites you can’t get from the street. The boat will have a cash bar. We suggest bringing a snack if needed.
Group 2 - QUINCY MARKET STOP (1 hour)
Only for those who were waitlisted or signed up in July 2026
Quincy Market is one of Boston's most popular destinations. Enjoy an hour to explore dozens of local shops, grab a meal or sweet treat from the famous food hall, watch talented street performers, or simply relax and take in the lively atmosphere before returning to the convention center.
Please note: due to logistical constraints, we can not change your tour type. You may not trade tickets or ask to have your ticket swapped to the boat or from the boat to Quincy Market.
Seamless transportation
The trolley will take both groups back to the convention center by 7:30 pm.
Free for patients, survivors, caregivers, and one guest
$25 per person for all other attendees
